With spring break kicking off for many, Market Square is hosting Spring Fest lasting more than a week. Some vendors don’t know if the festival will bring enough foot traffic.
Ramirez said since road construction started around Market Square, two years ago, there have been may initiatives to draw people in. “We help with marketing and promotion, we’re sharing information on our social media about how to plan ahead,” said Saunders. The anonymous vendor said since the project started there has been a major slowdown in business, even during busier seasons like Fiesta and summer.
