The programme will support 40 businesses over the next four years

Early stage technology businesses in Northern Ireland will have the chance to take part in a new £5 million accelerator programme co-funded by Invest Northern Ireland and the Northern Ireland Office .

It is targeted at tech start-ups and will provide support for what the organisations describe as “high growth Innovation Driven Enterprises” which invest in research and development and focus on selling internationally. Economy Minister Conor Murphy launched the programme alongside Steve Baker, Minister of State for Northern Ireland, and Kieran Donoghue, CEO, Invest Northern Ireland.

Those on the programmes will benefit from learning events with industry experts, mentoring by individuals with specific experience in starting and scaling a business and access to grant and investment funding.
