Ekiti Govt

The Ekiti State Government has commenced a comprehensive data collection and collation exercise targeting unemployed youths, market women, okada riders, artisans and several other community stakeholders.

The Commissioner for Information, Taiwo Olatunbosun, who made this known in Ado Ekiti, said that the focus is to develop an all-inclusive database that can be used to develop strategic interventions and planning to effectively address unemployment in the state.

Stressing that inclusion in the data is open to a wide range of individuals, including the unemployed, market vendors, private sector representatives, community leaders and persons with disabilities aged between 18 and 50 years, Olatunbosun added that the exercise is also aimed at assisting in decision-making and identifying challenges faced by businesses, boosting agriculture and digital innovations, amongst others.
