The Xiaomi Outdoor Camera Solar Panel offers efficient conversion of solar energy for long-lasting battery life. It thus provides reliable and continuous power for extended recording. The USB-C waterproof connector makes charging safer and eliminates leakages. The new Xiaomi solar panel is made of monocrystalline silicon and comes with a 3-meter cable that can be connected to the outdoor camera via USB-C. The extension cord is extra long, making it easier to find the perfect installation location while still being able to connect to the camera. The product can operate within the -20ºC to 55ºC temperature range. The connecting cable of the solar panel is also waterproof and effectively prevents liquid from penetrating during its operation.

The dimensions of the solar panel are 218 x 178 x 16mm and it comes with a few other accessories. These include mounting brackets, positioning sticker, expansion screw tether, and screws. The package comes with an instruction manual for the product.There are no official details yet on the launch date and price of the two outdoor cameras BW300 and BW500, as well as the solar panel. It is however expected that Xiaomi will release the optics for these new products anytime soon.
