The Hemmings family continue to support PNE financially

A further £1.4million has been invested into Preston North End, according to figures on Companies House. Released on Thursday morning, the documents show that the Lilywhites received another financial injection on May 8. The previous investment of £800k, in April, was made public in early May. Money was also pumped into PNE in December, November, October and September. The statements of capital via allotment of shares can be viewed online.

7m more in interest free loans has been put in since the year end. Last month, Hemmings said in a club update: ‘As I have said before, we know we do not get every single decision right. What club does? But I assure you we strive every day to improve. To improve the stadium facilities, to improve the hospitality, to improve the matchday experience, to improve the facilities and backroom support for the players, coaches, and management.
