Mthembu wins first Two Oceans Marathon South African runner Bongmusa Mthembu has won his first Two Oceans Marathon in Cape Town.

Bongmusa Mthembu who has won the Comrades Marathon three times secured his first Two Oceans Marathon on Sunday.

Mthembu, who has won the Comrades Marathon three times, secured his latest win by completing the 56 kilometre race in a time of three hours eight-minutes and forty seconds.Meanwhile, South African’s defending champion Gerda Steyn won the women’s race at a time of three hours thirty one minutes and 29 seconds.
