This follows the recent recalling of the Mayors of the Bojanala District Municipality, the City of Matlosana Local Municipality and the Greater Taung Local Municipality. This emerged during the ANC’s media briefing in Rustenburg yesterday following the Provincial Executive Committee meeting over the weekend.
The governing party in the province recently concluded performance assessments of its deployees after it expressed dissatisfaction with the ailing state of some municipalities which fail to render basic services.Chief whips of some of the municipalities were also not spared from the cut.
