Despite the growing popularity of AI-generated music, record labels are taking action against companies using copyrighted material to train their software. Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, and Warner Music Group have sued Uncharted Labs and Suno for allegedly using protected songs without permission to create AI music.

Artificial intelligence-made musical creations continue to go viral, from tunes like “10 Drunk Cigarettes” to “BBL Drizzy.” But despite AI-generated music’s recent popularity, use of the technology has faced intense criticism.
