The floating wind turbines will be constructed at a new deep water terminal in Avonmouth.

The floating wind turbines are to be shipped out to the Celtic Sea to power more than four million homes

Set to be fully operational by 2030, the project will support the construction of three huge wind farms off the South West and South Wales coastlines. More than 260 turbines will be spread across the three sites, each 300m tall, fixed on a floating platform the size of a football pitch.
