Some border officials from Mozambique fled to South Africa last night.“It’s now bad because they are no longer stamping passports. Even us who have already stamped our passports we are unable to cross. We are asking to be allowed to cross and go home because even our passports say we should be that side.”.

Another national says; “I am here to only renew my permit but they are saying we won’t be able to renew because there’s still a meeting between the Mozambican and South African authorities. That’s the only time they will tell us if we can pass or not.
