That was a nervy time for Kingspan, which had been the subject of a huge volume of unflattering evidence about the way in which Kingspan had tested and marketed some of its products in the years prior to the fire. Generation had expressed some concerns in its annual investor letter, which found the Irish company had fallen short of some of the principles defined by the UN’s social development goals, against which the fund makes its investment decisions, some of which “relates to the presence of Kingspan insulation boards on the Grenfell Tower in London”.
