Big-talking Jake Paul has told the world he will earn an eye-popping $40m . for his mega fight with Mike Tyson.

The rivals will battle on Netflix – with the streaming giants certain the whopping salaries will prove value for money. And Paul isn't shy in letting onlookers know about the monumental fee he is about to take to the bank. Speaking ahead of the big one, Paul, addressing Tyson's role in relation to his legacy, said; "I didn't bring him to do s***; I'm here to make $40million and knock out a legend.

Tyson won't be short of cash for Christmas presents, of course, but fans have been surprised he is making $20m to star in the mega fight. Those who adored the era of 'Iron' Mike will be miffed the heavyweight legend is the B side for a contest between an adored pugilists and a social media megastar.

Meanwhile, Netlfix supremo Brandon Riegg has told subscribers to the streaming giant, said: "In the era of social media there’s always going to be people on either side of the aisle. Look, it’s your choice. At Netflix we have a lot of things, not everything we have appeals to everybody. You can decide on your own terms, you can watch it or not, that’s all fine and good.

"I do find it a bit curious that some people are finding the time to say they’re not going to watch it. I kinda think they are if they’re publicly saying that. But it’s fine, we’re not going to get everybody, it’s not for everyone, that’s to be expected. We’re trying to pull off a great night and create a fun and enjoyable experience for everybody who watches it."
