Gedling Borough Council

Stall holders, who were moved to a new location in 2022, are keen on making the move permanent

Plans have been revealed to permanently move a Nottinghamshire town's market - but not everyone agrees on the new location. Gedling Borough Council has announced plans to make Eagle Square the permanent home of Arnold's market, subject to final approvals.

"We have been in constant contact with the traders, who have been on the site for over three years, and they have been supportive of this permanent move. The ambition we have for all of Arnold, our largest town centre and most visited shopping centre, will help revitalise our town centre, support local businesses, and attract more visitors."
