Words cannot express the gratitude I owe to each of you who supported the store over the years. Wake Up Little Suzie not only survived but thrived in Cleveland Park. I thank you all for your patronage and your friendship. I thank you for making Wake Up Little Suzie a part of your lives and a part of our great neighborhood. I have known some of you since 1977 when I opened my first store, As Time Goes By, on Capitol Hill. I got to know more of you when Wake Up Little Suzie opened in Adams Morgan in 1988. When I moved to Cleveland Park in 1993, I knew I was home thanks to the loyalty and support I received from all of you.
Wake Up Little Suzie’s success would not have been possible without Tim Bellis. I owe him more thanks than I can ever express. I am also grateful to all the wonderful part-timers who have helped over the years.
