AN academician has called on state governments to dissolve state investment arms, the Menteri Besar Incorporated and Chief Minister Incorporated . Edmund Terence Gomez from University Malaya’s Faculty of Economic and Administration said the state governments should instead utilise the state economic development corporation which is more transparent, accountable and in coordination with the federal government.
