Fire and Rescue spokesperson, Jermaine Carelse, says the first man died in Eersteriver in a shack fire while the second man succumbed to burn wounds in another shack fire in Khayelitsha.
“At this incident, the bodies of two adult males were discovered. All four deceased had sustained fatal burn wounds and was certified by fire service personnel. The causes of the fires are unknown and all scenes were handed over to SAPS for further investigation.”
