It's all due to Brexit and the migrant crisis...

Consumers are perhaps thinking more before they buy, especially if the item is covered in plastic or is just an unnecessary luxury item or newer version of something they already have.

Until the USA/China trade war ends

Even with a technical recession, which is a normal economic cycle ,the German economy is expected to return to growth next year, and don't simply go with these Ifo numbers without question.

Not surprising, Germany stopped making Made in Germany things. Now they wait for shipments from China for their day to day life. How can a country, be it Germany, UK, France or US, sustain its economy based on service only and no production? All they have is company headquarters

How can they possibly be on brink of recession when they're at the heart of the EU, and are importing millions of vibrant doctors, teachers, pharmacists, & engineers, & all that enriching chickpea-based food?

They're really going to need our money then.

Did they vote to leave the EU or something?
