Elizabeth Holmes is pushing to get the Theranos fraud case thrown out

, pointing to two specific instances cited by the prosecution involving an HIV test and two pregnancy tests.

"All tests have error rates [...] The government should not be permitted to try a case with anecdotes when incorrect blood tests are a fact of life," she said. US government prosecutor John Bostick replied that the defence has had plenty of time to clarify the meaning of the indictment. "The defense has been litigating this case for 20 months now. If they truly didn't understand the nature of the allegations they would have raised this issue earlier," he said.

Bostick also said Theranos' claim that it had obtained approval from the Food and Drug Administration was a ploy to reassure patients of its technology's accuracy,US District Judge Edward Davila is currently weighing the defence's request to dismiss, and asked both sides about the "implicit misrepresentations" Theranos allegedly made.

The trial of Holmes and Balwani is due to start in August 2020, and if found guilty the pair could each face 20 years in prison.

Of course she is..... and she’s completely innocent of all wrong doing.

I wouldn’t trust that face and thise freaky eyes. She is a psychopath.

I thought she already had girlfriends...

She has crazy eyes 👀

If the facts are against you, argue the law. If the law is against you, argue the facts. What to do if both are against you? This, I guess.

Well she looks perky and blonde and seems to like to distort reality. She could go get a job as a Fox News anchor.

SAI Our society needs businesses that help people, not exploit them if they can get away with it. This argument for dropping the case barely tries to claim the service was realistically useful.

techinsider I like this woman. She defrauded billionaire men and the upper 1%.

“I know everyone knows I did a fraud, but here me out here... ...what if we treat me as though I didn’t do a fraud.”

She should be in jail. Plain and simple. Shame it takes so long to end her case while it's obvious, with so many real and proved information how harmful she had been to so many normal people, workers, investors, partners etc

Of course she is. The elites front girl was plucked from casting to fleece investors. When the DOJ and judges are corrupt under Obama's administration you thought you could do anything.

Holy crap that’s audacious! I just read badblood by JohnCarreyrou (brilliant by the way) and the scale of deception was VAST
