Qatar Airways just paid $600 million for a bigger stake in British Airways' owner IAG, expanding its influence within the airline industry

Qatar now owns 25.1% of IAG after purchasing an additional $600 million stake.Visit Business Insider's homepage for more storiesQatar Airways has bought a $600 million stake in British Airways-owner IAG to increase its holding to 25.1%, strengthening its position ahead of a change in IAG management.
