One week since the Government's first stimulus package, the coronavirus response has swung towards keeping financial markets in order.

Mr Morrison scolded panic buyers to"stop it" yesterday,The Prime Minister said this behaviour was caused by Australians' anxiety but people needed to understand the nation had all the supplies it needed.

"While I did have a few stern words to say and my daughter said to me yesterday — 'It sounded like that's what you sometimes say to us, Dad' — and it was a bit like that," he said.He pledged to continue to calmly assure people of supplies"each and every day".Both Mr Morrison and Reserve Bank Governor Philip Lowe described their task as building a"bridge" to transport Australians across the coronavirus period.
