The head of the World Health Organization Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warns young people that they are 'not invincible' against the coronavirus pandemic, and says their self-restraint could save the lives of older generations. COVID19 Read more here:

OTTAWA -- Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced a new plan to mobilize businesses and manufacturers to help fight the spread of COVID-19 and boost the health sector’s stockpile of life-saving supplies, and says the government is working with airlines to help those stranded abroad to come home.

The manufacturing plan is meant to help industry accelerate ways to pivot their production lines to help at this critical time by mass-supplying various life-saving medical supplies, considered by some doctors who have called for more supplies being freed up, a "war-like effort.” Talks had been ongoing between the federal government and industry representatives about how companies can pivot to producing equipment like ventilators, face masks, and sanitizer in anticipation that the outbreak worsens in Canada and hospitals need additional supplies.

Public Services and Procurement Minister Anita Anand said that an additional 11.3 million N95 masks have been ordered and are in the process of being delivered to the front-line health staff who rely on them to protect themselves and their patients. Additional personal protective gear is also on its way, she said.

“This country’s industrial policy will be refocused for the time being to prioritize the fight against COVID-19,” Bains said.“Canadian manufacturers want to play a critical role in supporting Canada’s response to the COVID-19 crisis. They can and want to contribute to flattening the outbreak curve,” said CME President and CEO Dennis Darby, in a statement.

The prime minister said more is coming in terms of flights to get stranded Canadians back home in the coming days. The first flight will be repatriating Canadians stuck in Morocco this weekend.

Just remember the UN wants one government to control everyone! If you wants this you have no future.

MelanieNagyCTV Some young people just don't care about older people. They call the virus the 'Boomer Remover'.

Until he's removed, WHO should refrain from making public statements. WHO failed to recognize a pandemic and advised against travel restrictions, allowing the pathogen to spread. Those decisions will cost many lives.

Blaaa blaaa blaaaa What a bunch of puppets

Well after hearing his words why are construction sites still open ? LOOK AT THESE CONDITIONS... you heard it hear first, the spread of this will boom due to construction workers all across gta

A day late and billions short.

Same guy who only a few months back said this virus was nothing to worry about. I say withhold our tax contribution to the WHO while this guy is at the helm. He's on China's payroll.

This guy literally said travel bans don't work a month ago 😂😂😂

This new generations are bunch of iodiots

Can this guy change his name to something pronounceable like 'Ted Adams'?

First assumption is that they care about older generations who created the current state of the world...
