Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler will liquidate her individual stocks in favor of mutual funds and exchange-traded funds after being accused of insider trading amid the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic by MattRyanPerez

Weeks before the pandemic crashed the market and after attending private meetings about the threat of the virus, Loeffler sold millions of dollars in stocks in retailers like T.J. Maxx, and bought shares in DuPont de Nemours, a personal protective equipment supplier, and Citrix, a teleworking software maker.

Meanwhile she downplayed both the threat of the virus and claims that the U.S. was unprepared for an oncoming pandemic. In the op-ed, Loeffler denied any wrongdoing and claimed her investments were managed by third-party advisers without their direct input, but she's taking the action"because the issue isn’t worth the distraction. My family’s investment accounts are being used as weapons for an assault on my character at a time when we should all be focused on making our country safe and strong."

Loeffler was appointed to the Senate seat by Governor Brian Kemp in December 2019 following the retirement of Johnny Isakson but faces an election to retain the seat in November. conducted by Battleground Connect for challenger House Representative Doug Collins last week showed Collins had a 23-point lead on Loeffler.has reportedly begun a probe into the stock transactions of some lawmakers, with the FBI already reaching out to Senator Richard Burr , who also heads the Senate Intelligence Committee. When news broke of Burr and Loeffler's initial sell offs, House Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called for Loeffler's resignation.

MattRyanPerez Can I get in her funds with the exact same investment conditions? I am guessing they might outperform other funds.

MattRyanPerez Ask MarthaStewart what should happen to them... ALL of these insider traders.

MattRyanPerez Isn’t the point that she already liquidated pre-crash? Stupid gesture. She should be held accountable

MattRyanPerez If it was you or me, we wouldn't be given the option to divest. We'd be indicted for insider trading and getting fitted for an orange jumpsuit.

MattRyanPerez A pair of crooks for sure. Still should go to jail.

MattRyanPerez Ooops, there it goes.

MattRyanPerez If Martha Stewart can go to prison for 6 months so can she

MattRyanPerez Anything less than a resignation shouldn't be accepted.

MattRyanPerez She should be prosecuted. Insider trading is a crime, not a fucking hobby!

MattRyanPerez Of course she will. She has already made countless millions through her illegal and unethical behavior. Time to cash out and find a new criminal endeavor.

MattRyanPerez And the profit therefore to be donated to purchase equipment needed to help the health care workers do their job safely? Probably not. It will be squirreled away until the next chance to scam the system?

MattRyanPerez Cool. Nothing matters.

MattRyanPerez The unelected Senator needs to resign. She should spend time at the same place they sent Martha Stewart for less.

MattRyanPerez How sweet, I hope they use some of that money to take a vacation after all the mean peasant's outcries for justice

MattRyanPerez Like it nevvverrrrr happppened.

MattRyanPerez I'd be very much grateful if anyone wants to donate 100 bucks to my paypal. Currently facing financial crisis and i got a mini album to release. 🙏 Paypal - reezyrigiskgmail.com

MattRyanPerez Um. Not really good enough. Are we just ignoring the ethical and legal breaches?

MattRyanPerez Hope he get wat he deserver for sure I believe so

MattRyanPerez Didn't Martha Stewart go to JAIL OVER THIS?

MattRyanPerez Lol, cool.
