Multiple customers said they purchased the test kits, because they were terrified of contracting the virus, or infecting vulnerable family members. In total, NPR was able to verify more than $1,000 in purchases from the company by viewing receipts.its"sole intention" was to sell the tests for use by health care providers, and pledged to offer refunds to customers.
