Launching an educational and inclusive news show during a time of confusion will help NBC engender trust among parents and kids

," set to stream on YouTube, and air as a new segment twice a week within his broadcast show, per Variety. The show, which is intended for kids between the ages of 6 and 16, focuses on answering questions about everything from the coronavirus to how to best do homework when you never leave home — and it features clips of kids asking the questions themselves., and that will benefit the network for years to come.

Holt emphasized in the first episode the importance of knowledge and credible facts in times like these, and pulled in several experts to discuss issues like when coronavirus might end and whether it's safe to swim in a pool. As NBC moves forward, it will need to endear itself to younger customers to stay relevant, and if it can do so with more expansive kid's content, through multiple channels, it will open itself up to an entirely new digital-native audience.

This show should additionally help NBC advance its digital strategy as it works to keep up with the times and appeal to younger viewers. NBC has been working to attract younger audiences of late.
