We need this to happen NOW! We the people are who keep the economy functioning. Without our spending, there’s no economy. Bail the citizens out, not large corporations!

Give money to the shoppers and we will bail out the country. I would have thought that was obvious.

Should be everyone under 250k

All the money for a stimulus package will go to saving the oil industry

As long as the truckers don't figure out they are the only ones working and could stay at home and get a check

Im more Afraid of their solution to Replace all this Stimulus 💰 & Cost Of this Pandemic... personally I think it should come Out of this Administration’s salary, as it wouldn’t be so catastrophic had it not been Ignored w/vague China Ban & Complacent Mockery for 2+ Months😥🚫

I think it has to be means tested to ensure that people working from home at full pay are not eligible.

That's because the politicians work for those who pay them. Bad news, it's not the American people.

If Canada can do it...

Republicans said, No !?

Other countries are doing this with some very nice perks.

RogenaLSpokane this would be great!!! but I don't see it happening!!!

Living around America and not just on vacation I have been exposed to the truth about people living conditions, very few people have a income of 100000 a year, if they do they don't report it, so what is 2000 a month to live on and care for kids & bills

Would it be better to pay the companies 75% of employees’ salaries?

This will be a great help to most American people as If this actually will happend. It sad to say, But Many people are suffering tremendously due of crisis situation with Taxes refund and Stimulus check missing.. We Need Action!!!!

Gimmee dat cash money

Canadians already doing so. People already have their $2000 retro to March 15.

Needs to be done for the working man and women of this country help

Down here in Florida we still haven’t received any benefits. From state or government. The tension is rising in the state. Thanks to FLDEO & RonDeSantisFL

Well the US can't afford not to support its people. It will just over run the hospitals and funeral homes. Look to the other G7 countries for what to do.

That will definitely help a lot of people but shouldn't we be focusing more resources and efforts on a vaccine and helping the medical community deal with this tragedy?

“NOBODY🦇👁”

Rep. Ryan may talk about it, but there is no way in hell the GOP would pass such a bill unless there are more breaks for the rich. The GOP has no interest in the middle class when it comes to money to help. They never have & that has not changed.

All that money removed from the greasy claws of the tRumpo regime? I doubt it.

I’m still waiting for the first stimulus...

Leaders of the country that once created the greatest economic mobilization in history to defeat the Nazis now have no more creative solutions than arguing over who can give away more money to 'solve' the problem?!...

Sounds nice but I haven’t even gotten my first check yet

If the 2 trillion dollars used to fund corporate bailout was allocated to this problem, it would guarantee $2/month for almost a year!

Nice idea. But will it fly? Didn’t the big corporations get enough with the tax cuts?

As someone fortunate enough to work from home, even with a moderate salary, I don't need this kind of extra money. It should only go to support people who are actually financially impacted. Send it to state unemployment agencies.

Why are they means testing this? Yes I'm speaking out of my own interests. But 2018 and 2019 tax returns mean shit if you've lost your job. How many self-employed and small business owners have lost substantial income in the last three months. Plus 130K in NYC isn's a high.

Think of the poor wealthy who will be left with nothing!

PELOSI eats ice pops while Americans lose jobs.
