A train station worker has died after a man who said he had the coronavirus spat at her

Belly Mujinga, 47, was on the concourse with a colleague during her shift at Victoria station in central London on March 22 when a member of the public approached them.according to her trade union the Transport Salaried Staffs Association The TSSA say that Belly and her colleague "begged to be let to work from inside the building with a protective barrier between them and the public" but were told to remain outside.

"Our view is that this compensation should be extended to the families of all front-line workers who perish trying to keep our country and vital services going.
