“[SWIGSAFE™] started with the idea of trying to combat unintentional binge drinking,” says Brenda of the brand she and Olivia conceived in 2015. “And then this event happened which reinforced the need for a second facet to [the tumbler], which was to secure a lid.

“I’m not going to say that not having a business background is necessarily a benefit, but we were certainly able to approach our business in a more organic and out-of-the-box way,” answers Brenda when asked about her and daughter Olivia’s initial lack of expertise.
