'I think everybody is rethinking what the fashion industry stands for, what it means, what it should be,' Vogue editor Anna Wintour told CNBC.

"This was an opportunity for the industry ... to help these people and make them understand that there is indeed a future for young creative talent and that they aren't going to have to close up shop," said Wintour, who noted, said she believes the Covid-19 crisis will alter how people approach fashion in the future, with an eye toward sustainability and "the value of what they're buying, whatever the price point.

"And I think it's an opportunity for everybody to slow down, produce less, and really make the world over fall in love with the creativity and passion of fashion," Wintour said. "And maybe have a little bit less of an emphasis on things moving so quickly and an emphasis always on what's new."

Que gran análisis y conclusión.

I agree with her stance on “time to slow down”, though the industry will have a couple of unsold season’s worth of goods to recycle... devastating

Discretionary spending has been down ever since elites (including those in the fashion industry) hollowed out the middle class after getting touchy about too many people enjoying brunch instead of submitting to their globalist slavery enterprise. Out touch and out of sight.

No way! The sweats are back!

It's not about the money, remember

Sorry but my business is booming.

For a lot of industries

Actually, almost all the industries have been affected by the virus. (Catering Industry ,tourist industry....). The whole world is having a hard time this year.

Darling don’t be so dramatic

* who cares *

Many of us HAVE given brief thought about what the fashion industry 'should be' ... and you won't like it.

You mean you have to get a real job?

Sad that with so many job losses and tons of people lining up on food banks y worry about fashion.

LOL! Bad fashion and poorly done hair. What ever shall we do? How can we survive as a society?

Who ?

Awesome. Let's hope that bullshit collapses.

Its never part of a successful economy

Wasn't most of their clothes made in China anyways? 😒

Her hair is catastrophic.

Thanks for the insight

Oh no, poor fashion industry

Fashion is dead.

The future is in masks.😊😊😊

It’s cute that the same tweeters that are demanding to re-open the economy to save jobs are actively cheering on the destruction of an industry. I guess those “jobs” don’t matter?

Great content today...

Yeah, 2/3 of the world is wearing sweatpants these days

Oh no...

well duh

My slow pitch softball league was cancelled because of covid. I hate this!!!!! 😤😤😤😔
