A white woman has apologised after she was filmed calling the police on a black man who asked her to follow Central Park rules and put her dog on a leash, in the latest incident of racial profiling to go viral on social media.Amy Cooper was spotted on Monday morning, between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m.
After the video went viral, Amy Cooper said she wanted to “publicly apologize to everyone”, telling CNN: “I'm not a racist. I did not mean to harm that man in any way” and did not want to harm the African American community, she said. Amy Cooper, who works for investment company Franklin Templeton, has since been placed on administrative leave. The company said in a statement: “We take these matters very seriously, and we do not condone racism of any kind. While we are in the process of investigating the situation, the employee involved has been put on administrative leave.”Christian Cooper told CNN that he filmed the incident because “I thought it was important to document things.

An apology is not enough, she should explain herself. Someone should walk her through the very real scenario where if Police had responded to her groundless rants, this law abiding man could very likely have been shot dead for no reason other than being black.
She only apologized because she got caught. She is suffering the repercussions of making false statements to police. I had karens make false against me in 2012 when their dog attacked a military puppy. I faced life in prison for their false report.

Did anyone actually read the transcript, the guy said “if you do what you want, then I’m gonna do what I want and you’re not going to like it”. Putting race aside, that could be construed as a threat which is why she rang the police.

She filed a false police report on video. She didn't just call the police. She committed a crime. In New York, making a false report is a criminal offense under NY PL 240.50, 240.55, and 240.60. She can get up to 7 years.
This is not about race. Its about pet rules. Which apparently are vague enough to start incidents like this.
