Sen. Josh Hawley criticizes Google over deletion of comments critical toward China

on Wednesday, Hawley, a Republican from Missouri, called the deletions "censorship at the behest of the Chinese Communist Party," though Google has said the actions are accidental and that it is working to fix the problem.

In a statement to Business Insider about Hawley's letter, a YouTube spokesperson said, "We're always working to resolve issues on YouTube. Upon review by our teams, we have confirmed this was an error in our enforcement systems and have rolled out a fix." But, Hawley noted in the letter Google's history of censoring content to appease China; Google was widely criticized in 2018, including by its own employees, for ato censor the terms "human rights" and "student protest," as well as send data to Beijing.

Clear evidence of how CCP China is invading OUR free world!

Google, you can't make money in China. they won't let you to do that

So many Social media do self-censorship for CCPChina, and the red capital are trying to control these media as well. Just fight for freedom of speech.

Stand with FreedomOfSpeech

A US IT giant knee down to China. That shows how China is threating to the world by its economic power.

Please stand with us and boycott China

SenHawleyPress Criticism is all that Hawley is about.

CCP ChinaCommunistParty

Self-censorship is a scary first step to a full-fledged submission to dictatorship. CCP BigBrother

When we search in Cantonese, Google now doesn’t show some suggested buscar results which may ‘Threaten the national security’ like the yellow economy, protester-friendly businesses. Yet ‘red economy’ appears then we all know red capital is behind google. StandWithHongKong

In Hong Kong region, google buscar often shows results in Simplified Chinese prior to in Traditional Chinese. Yet I rarely visit website in Simplified Chinese because its characters are considered ugly cancer.

ccp is a human right violator. It has not changed and becoming more worsening. Concentration camp and more surveillance system will be built in Hk later.

Whole world should start very powerfully consider sanctions to against the Chinese Gov and their people, hard and limited entry restrictions, freeze assets, and ban financial transactions. *Besides Hong Kong 🆘message from HongKonger🇭🇰

Will all these company also be CCP promoting machines? Or they already are?

Reminds me of this pic BoycottChina When can corporations stop bowing to China for money?

Essential part of Orwellian state🇨🇳

Why does Google support China's censorship?

Freedom of speech is gone. Why the leaders of almost all nations are subject to criticisms but not the CCP regime? China is not as good as one thinks.

Not only Google, Youtube also.

Please guard the freedom of speech instead of bowing to ccp. Compromising to money sacrifices all the effort paid by ppl in history who had ever fought for the freedom that we are now exploiting.

SenHawleyPress US co, wake up before it's too late!
