Tesla said on Thursday that it temporarily assigned 20 of its employees to SpaceX to handle unspecified technical projects.
NASA astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken stand in front of the Tesla Model X that will carry them to the launchpad for the SpaceX Demo-2 launch.that it temporarily assigned 20 of its employees to SpaceX, another Elon Musk-led venture, to work on unspecified technical projects. Musk is CEO of Tesla, and the founder, CEO and Chief Technology Officer of SpaceX, but the companies are incorporated as independent entities. Tesla provided scant detail about what the 20 employees will be doing at SpaceX or for how long, saying only that it was a related party transaction and that "SpaceX will pay Tesla an estimated $0.1 million."
What is the point of this article? It reads like you are trying to imply something nefarious or unscrupulous between SpaceX and Tesla - in reality it's obvious that employees will have overlapping skills. Considering the importance of the Demo 2 mission it should be applauded!
What is the negative angle CNBC and the reporter is trying to go after in this report? I am guessing the idea is to show some possibility of fraud without explicitly stating it. All for $100K?

As a shareholder of Tesla - Not only do I not mind this, but I encourage it. There are many companies/industries where cross collaboration works, and Tesla & SpaceX are probably better equipped to handle this successfully more than anyone else.
