Cyril must go

The UIF Call Centre nr does not exist

stadathi Name and shame all culprits.

😳

New dawn of shock.

Your shocks are shocking !

they must not be shocked they must do an audit hold those companies accountable

Whilst I am sure there are companies that haven't paid which is disgusting of them, UIF also hasnt paid for some employees. No reason given, just endless delays

What shocks me is that, us the people knew that the UIF was going to be shocked that big & small companies weren't going to pay their employees!

Kanti ishonaphi lenyuku?

But the workers been saying lol....I see atleast 3 post about it everytime I log on

What's going to happen after the shock? Where to report such companies to help them build a solid case, payslips are proofs

Lol government should be the last one to be shocked for non payment as OfficialSASSA is also failing to pay unemployed people

Who ever isn't paying employee's must face a mighty law.

The authors of this article interchange 'we know' and 'we have heard'. Which Is It ? Choose one.

What were they expecting? Anyway that’s how our government roll! Forever REACTIVE!

UIF is not paying employers. There's your reason...

It is what it is ...SA for you

they act as if they shocked deptoflabour we always tell them but they kept quet

every politician is shocked by what we go thru everyday...kante bona ba nagana gore go byaang ko kasi 😲 ..if a company can pay you peanuts why are they shocked if it cannot pay this UIF grant

so what is their action against that🤔

They are shocked? Really what are they gonna do about it

Let the uif follow up through us the workers if we got it.

Shocked? They part of this syndicate. Why cant those monies be paid directly to employees

Lols shocked?

Might be true but what is fact is that most companies has not been paid since day one. There will be lawsuits in this.

Yeah but what is UIF going to do about it besides being shocked?

Easy to blame companies. What about the UIF stealing the contributions

And there seem to be duplicates and triplicates. George Storrar Drive Service Station just as an example

From a friend: Company shocked to find out that DOL couldn't find their UIF contributions on their systems. It just disappeared! Company clever, kept all proof of payments! Incompetence and greed holding hands, running to a piggy bank hidden in an offshore account somewhere?

Well done some have been caught out. I know a private and a state owned that has violated their employees due to politics! All proof available public knowledge. This will be breaking news. Friends and colleagues and one child has died as a result.

Wat other income sources are they beca

We been waiting for unemployment benefits since March please help us we are struggling to survive during lockdown that APPLICATION 435 saying APPLICATION NOT PROCESSED YET for about 2month ago please assist us it's so painful deeply painful my kids got no food

June16_Unizulu unizulumustfall

Personally fine the bosses involved.

Instead of paying employers that should gave paid employees instead

Why not name the companies!!!

ProteaHotels You Better Say Something 😒 You Told Your Employees They Won't Be Getting Any Salary The Beginning Of June Instead UIF Will Be Paying Em Directly

Shocked, shocked, shocked. That's all the useless MYANC is every good for, apart from stealing. Vote this rotten party out!

Mmm

McDonald's hasn't paid their employees and managers included yet they expected to come and work everyday

McDonald's hasn't paid their workers for 2 months and they expected to come to work every day McDonald's what's your opinion about this?

Nope Nope Nope not employers but UIF. Been waiting since last year for UIF, receive a sms EVERY month that Uif will pay me, 8-months later still waiting, phones calls and emails don't get answered.

Name and shame!

😭😭

My word. Even big companies must have an income to survive. Why shocked? They can try and stay afloat for a month not cutting cost and then close down completely or they can try and save a business and provide jobs again. Money does not rain on companies.

Workers shocked that UIF is shocked about this scam

They are doing it purposely knowing nothing will happen to them

Hahahaha South Africa though!!! Why is this a shock? Everyone knew this would happen.

If not shocked, they condemning

The problem is that the MYANC government promised the workers the same in compensation for the hours that they normally work while on Temporary Lay Off... but that is just not happening. The fault is not with the employer... it's time the authorities look into the mirror...

They will only pay workers once UIF pay them. That a stupid excuses because you check uif payment status on their side saying Employee not found, is that means Employer don't want to pay?

Nothing is shocking there... We've been crying ka these so called 'big companies'... The only big thing about them is their names...

The story is the UIF’s sense of shock or the fact that crooked employers are stealing from their employees and committing fraud?

My mother is also a victim of this ,she hasn't received anything since the lockdown has started

ANCParliament PresidencyZA CyrilRamaphosa Unemployed South Africans not so shocked about governments empty promises of a ridiculous R350.00 SDR grant 2 months ago, yet nothing being paid. YouthDay2020 SASSA steelhomstukkend

They are useless, should have paid employees direct

Why at first give companies uif, workers supposed to apply to the uif themselves n get the money straight to their account

Arrest them not on twitter

Everyone in SA appears to be suffering from chronic shock. Now given our history of greed and corruption including unpunished white collar crimes, one would think that we would know better, plan better and take better care of those in need.

UIF ngamamenemene

Did they pay them first?

Why are they shocked cause they gave employers money not to the employees, let's hope that those companies that ddnt pay the uif money to the employees will be held accountable

Mmm. This bears some investigation. Might be that UIF is not paying out.

I don't what sources SASSA is referring to because my last job was KFC last september.whats going on here ,I'm unemployed and recieving nothing for 9months now

Lol. Now that it's time for uif to pay they can't 💁‍♂️

End of May I got paid R366.51 I don't understand how or why

Wow really? Shows how flawed their systems are. Who does auditing for the UIF so that they know which companies are compliant or not.

where can we report this?

What did you expect, absent goverment

They said that before, how are we going to receive our money?

It’s a hangover from SA’s ‘them’ and ‘us’ days that prevailed, in the last Century

Always in a state of SHOCK!!!

tebohoMarupingMustFall

No worries...Government will shield them from prosecution! SARB headed by KganyagoLesetja was defending apartheid financial crimes. TRC recommendations have gathered dusk somewhere in someone’s office. MYANC tito_mboweni EGodongwana have yet to issue a statement

uifbenefits deptoflabour should publish a list of companies who have been paid so that employees can cross check their employers, cause the chances of looting from both sides are very high.

Bayayitya imali ka UIF ezi'company🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

Name and shame

There is allways somebody 'shocked' .... 🤣🤣😅😅😆😁😄😄😁😅🤣

Seems as if everyone connected to CyrilRamaphosa the GovernmentZA and MYANC are continuously shocked.

🤣🤣😅😅😆😆😁😄😄😆😅😅🤣
