The Aseyin, Oba Abd-Ganiy Adekunle Salau, suspended the Basorun of Iseyin, Chief Raheem Adelodun.
The monarch in a statement signed and made available to journalists on Thursday in Ibadan, the state capital, said that Adelodun was alleged to have, alongside the former Akiisi, engaged in acts that could bring disrepute to the authority of the monarch and his own family.
