Iran reportedly paid bounties to the Taliban to target US troops in Afghanistan

President Donald Trump delivers remarks to US troops in an unannounced visit to Bagram Air Base, Afghanistan, November 28, 2019.Iran paid bounties to the Taliban to target US troops, according to a US intelligence assessment firstThe suspected bounty plot was reportedly cited by US officials as part of the justification for the drone strike that killed Iranian Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

The CNN report comes after the Trump administration has faced questioning and pressure in recent weeks over reports that Russia also paid bounties to Taliban-linked militants to target US troops. Bounties were paid by a foreign government to the Haqqani network, whose leader is the deputy head of the Afghan Taliban, for the Bagram attack, according to a Pentagon briefing document reviewed by CNN.

The suspected Iranian bounty plot was cited by US officials as a partial justification for the Soleimani strike, a current administration official and former senior official with knowledge of the situation told CNN.

Wow, Taliban has defeated US and it's allies so badly. That they are now blaming other countries for it defeat. US and it's allies has brought nothing good to Afghnistan except killing of innocent people. They have committed war crimes which are still pending in intrntional court

It is known.

So now it is Iran what paid for American bounties and not Russia like few weeks oga🤔

Of course they did with bidens 150 bil Thanks sleepy Joe!
