How a teacher and mother launched a successful reusable face mask company in just a few weeks while balancing a full-time job (by Britt_S_O)

, which focuses on creating and driving new revenue streams for brands, celebrities, and startups, the business opportunity came to fruition from a mask created by Anna and Ron Grinvald, a doctor and former injection mold specialist for several parts on the NASA spacesuit. The couple sent Castle's husband some pictures of the mask and asked him for help with the business.

"I made [the strap] wider for better comfort," she said. "We also changed the color from clear to colors since silicone takes color so well." Castle worked quickly to get the face masks ready for market in eight weeks while working 20-hour days. The Grinvalds are in charge of production and sourcing for the company and the exclusive manufacturers of the product, while CastleGrade has applied for the patents and trademarks globally, which are still pending.

, a New York City dentist who also has a daughter in the same class as the Castles, was instrumental in the production process since her profession requires her to wear a mask all day. The masks were easy to produce, Castle said, because they didn't face a shortage with medical-grade silicone like they would have with.
