“We know at the very least there will be some form of tax breaks for business in the budget as the government looks to create as many jobs as possible,” he said. “It could come in the form of company tax cuts, it could also come in the form of an investment allowance.” Mr Clennell said the Business Council of Australia is pushing for a 20 per cent tax break on investment in new projects.
