Companies are recruiting more business students at historically Black colleges and universities in an attempt to diversify their talent pipelines. “We are now able to reach out to and tap into new pools that we haven’t before.”

The business school at Howard University, a historically Black college, usually has 50 or so companies at its on-campus fall career fair, but this year hosted about 140 firms virtually,
