Covid rules that prioritise economic over caring relationships won’t be respected | Laura Bear

For anyone adjusting to the rules set out under the government’s three-tier system for England, it won’t come as a surprise that they fail to match up with our lives. And people in Tiers 2 and 3 in 'established relationships' but who can't bubble should be allowed to meet inside. This is often the most important relationship 2 people have.

Many families can’t see parents/grandparents still, I wouldn’t dare let my 7&10 yo near them whilst they are mixing with 300 families indoors in poorly ventilated schools & could be asymptomatic, hard but better that than lose them forever 😢🥺 Parents_Utd HoppySaul

This really important. Covid rules should protect life, the person and then the business. In that order. I worry that at the moment it's all about the economy. People won't comply if the rules focus on the wrong priorities.
