Although furlough served a purpose in unprecedented times. Paying people to stay at home will only increase employment resistance in some quarters.

According to the Guardian absolutely no good came from furlough, only bad. So we may as well have not bothered. Unless of course Guardian blindly biased and duty bound to criticise anything government do
