Microsoft just poached Salesforce's chief data officer as the competition between the two tech giants intensifies

Microsoft has tapped Salesforce first-ever chief data officer Hernan Asorey to take the same role within its commercial business unit,The key hire comes as the battle intensifies between the tech giants for dominance in the customer relationship management industry, which helps sales teams track and manage leads. Microsoft and Salesforce did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Asorey could not immediately be reached for comment.

My advice? Get an outsider from a software market that isnt garbage. Salesforce CRM is about as advanced as software in the 90's from a daily user's perspective. Need to send a client an email with 5 pics? Give me 20 minutes give or take. Mobile app? They have one. Nothing works.
