DBKL to install CCTV in Selayang wet market

KUALA Lumpur City Hall will install more than 100 closed-circuit television cameras around the Kuala Lumpur Wholesale Market in Selayang to monitor illegal immigrants in the area. Federal Territories Minister Annuar Musa said the CCTV, to be equipped with artificial intelligence features with facial recognition technology, would monitor and control activities inside and outside the wholesale market.
