The company offered a 'relaxing' round-trip for £25 per person

A Northern Irish tour bus company has sparked outrage after advertising a 160-mile trip to Dundrum Shopping Centre in Dublin.Ireland is due to exit the current Level Five lockdown on December 1, with all non-essential retail shops expected to reopen on that date.

They added: "Regarding the shopping trip to Dundrum it won t be going ahead as after double checking travel restriction its not possible at this time thankyou for all the interest if i have offended anyone in anyway I again am sorry." "Our shops are not open on the 30th we have been in lockdown since March a lot of us still can’t go back to work cos there closed essential travel only and this is not essential travel . You're not welcome."

He said: “I was shocked to see adverts on Facebook for tours to Dundrum Town Centre in my constituency of Dublin Rathdown from a Derry based operator.
