SAI Seems like the reverse of the NBA.

This concerns me as a shareholder. I just want the best person for the job, regardless of race or gender. I know, super radical concept nowadays.

They need to keep doing exactly what they've been doing. Don't play this woke bullshit. Hire the top talent, period.

Musk is always thinking ahead. Most studies suggest blacks will be less than 8% of the population by 2040, so he is just thinking way ahead?

Color shouldent be the point nor the question. A person should be hired in function of what he can offer to the compagny. Expertise, quality and so on..

.....need to report % for asian, latino, and native amer. and stop your 1-color reporting

Evolving? I could’ve sworn we’ve been here since the 1700s.

Insofar there's no concious decision to malign black people. Forcing companies to employ black is outdated

techinsider What about other races

Is there any difference at all between Tesla and other major corporations on this matter? How many of those 4% are women? (Don’t answer)

“Black professionals in 2018 held just 3.3% of all executive or senior leadership roles, which are defined as within two reporting levels of the CEO, according to the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.” So Tesla is actually above average.

I'm here! I'm and effective leader have lead men and woman over seas in war.

this is terrible news

Don't hire them for being 'black', hire them for being good at what they do (same goes to 'white', 'male', 'female' and any other social label).

techinsider Is that more or less than the average company?

Is THAT why Elon Musk is telling people he's moving to TEXAS ? ARE THERE NO BLACK ENGINEERS OR MANAGERS IN CALIFORNIA

Tesla is still a 50B value low margin, low growth company, like Ford, Nissan or others. I don’t understand the hype around Tesla. They make electric cars, the same electric cars that other car companies are starting to turn their businesses to.
