Nigeria recorded $414.79m Foreign Direct Investment in the third quarter of 2020 out of a total of $1.46bn capital inflow into the country during the period under review.

The National Bureau of Statistics disclosed this in its ‘Nigerian capital importation’ report for the third quarter of 2020.

“This represents an increase of 12.86 per cent compared to Q2 2020 and -74.03 per cent decrease compared to the third quarter of 2019. By sector, capital importation by production dominated in Q3 2020 reaching $400.09m of the total capital importation in Q3 2020.
