SAP's North American president reveals the 3 step plan the company used to invest in employee wellness benefits during the pandemic

When the pandemic caused companies across the country to shift to remote work, SAP was ready.

The pandemic has forced companies of all kinds to invest in employee wellness. For example, Prudential is adding training sessions and. Team collaboration software company TeamLabs is providing employees with financial assistance through an employee support fund and team workout classes through Zoom.

Led by Chief Crisis Manager Mathias Braje, the task force consists of employees from a range of teams, including medical, financial, and HR experts, who collectively provide expertise on how to best manage a crisis. "Many companies will bring in advisors from the outside who have 20, 25 years of experience in the industry," Paoni said. "That's very important to have, but I did it from the bottom up as well. I wanted to create an emerging talent advisory board made up of emerging talent that represents all different areas of the business."
