The Department of Finance has launched a page on its website wherein the public can report erring employees or officials of the department and its attached agencies.

The initiative was made following the call of President Rodrigo Duterte last year to eliminate corruption in all government offices.

“It allows the public to submit any information that they may have against officers and personnel of the DOF and its attached agencies like the Bureau of Internal Revenue and Bureau of Customs who might own properties or live lifestyles grossly disproportionate to their lawful incomes,” said DOF. Moreover, DOF said that it has an independent team from the Department of Justice-led mega task force, called the Revenue Integrity Protection Service, that looks into any alleged corruption within the department and its attached agencies.
