Rappler talks to the MMFF 2020 Best Supporting Actress winner about 'Tagpuan' and what she's learned from years in the entertainment industry. Don't miss this RapplerTalk today at 6:30 pm! Tune in here:

To say that actress Shaina Magdayao is a veteran of Philippine show business at 31 wouldn’t be an exaggeration. She was first featured on the small and big screens as a child actress and has since been a mainstay in television and movies, despite her own questions about her place and stay in the industry.

While those questions still nag her, Shaina’s been enjoying one good project after another and recently, was awarded Best Supporting Actress in the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival for her role in. In the movie, she plays the complicated, enigmatic, and very loud “Tanya,” who Shaina herself says is the opposite of who she is, the roles people expect her to play.
