Walgreens and Pfizer become the latest corporations to suspend political donations to Republican lawmakers who objected to Biden's presidential win

, while some corporations decided to suspend political donations to one or both political parties.

Walgreens confirmed to Insider on Saturday that it has suspended contributions to the GOP members of congress who voted to overturn the election results. Pfizer will also reportedly suspend political contributions to the 147 lawmakers who moved to object to Biden's Electoral College victory. The 139 representatives and eight senators continued with a plan to try and overturn the election results even after the deadly siege on the US Capitol by Trump supporters who had been fueled by baseless allegations of voter fraud.

That's great and all, but why are corporations allowed to donate to politicians in the first place? I think that's what needs to change.

There is a clear line now in the sand and businesses as well as citizens have to make a choice, Trump lies and treason or democracy.

What about those who spent years claiming the Russians rigged trumps win. Will they too be losing donations
