The United States has suspended its 25% tariffs on some United Kingdom exports including European wine, single malt Scotch whiskies, biscuits, clotted cream, and other goods.

Implemented as a deterrent in preventing or discouraging businesses from purchasing/importing goods, but it's simply a bougie synonym for taxes. No matter how you slice it, it's the consumer that ends up getting screwed in the end.

All tariffs need to go it's the consumers paying them not the sellers. So it only hurts us. Due to Trump's trade war we paid 1227 a family to them each year.
