Pork barrel by any name.

There's a display in China on how these moisture releasing machines would bring down carbon matter from the atmosphere reducing the carbon emission and returning it back to the earth to be swept up

They do not look happy.

The guy who balked at taking federal funds for essential workers is asking for federal funds for oil companies 🙄. jkenney must have some really lucrative post-premier gig lined up for when he gets booted from the top job.

Propose a way Quebec can get the money and it will happen.

We need to realize that total distance away from fossil fuels is a falicy...there WILL always be a need for AFFORDABLE fossil fuels. I live “off-grid” and know by experience the inadequacies of renewable energies.

Oh kenney give it a rest

Sure. Use $30bn to retrain oil and gas workers then let oil and gas fend for itself. Why do we keep wasting taxpayer dollars on a dying, polluting (and private!) sector of the economy when new opportunities and innovation are what we need?

kootscrutinizer Is JK high? He has to be high. There is no other explanation, right?

Oil companies working on a carbon reduction plan after decades of wilful ignorance, negligence, and obfuscation is akin to giving a burglar an unlimited budget to make the purchases to refurbish your house after he himself has burgled you

Corporate socialism is literally the worst kind of socialism

Why do they need $30B?

erinotoole JustinTrudeau See, that's all the industry needs, a little oil to grease the wheels of change, never saw that coming, lol

Ottawa's plan: kill all oil production = zero carbon. Result? We're all starving & freezing in the dark.

To be fair Albertans have contributed 610 billion to Canada in transfers since 1960...

Albert should work with oil companies to draft a plan to cap their played out wells and pay for them to .

Cry me a river. I thought the Cons were better at managing their affairs than the rest of us. Ottawa should tell Jason and his Cons to go to hell!!

Hey Danstringer74 you still $TIC.V gang?

So, now Kenney wants Canadians to pay for carbon reduction but has gone to court to prevent Canadians from paying carbon reduction. Head shake.

When you burn oil, you get CO2 - life-blood of plants and all life. When you formulate a plan to reduce carbon you reduce what plants need. jkenney will now go begging to JustinTrudeau for handouts which taxpayers will foot the bill for. What's wrong with this picture.

Where is all that sales tax revenue? Sarcasmo

Everybody have a good laugh. When are these morons going to get with the times? China has gone solar and electric vehicles are taking over North America. National Post

Jason Kenney can go jump in a tailing pond.

😂 no

Alberta conservative politicians are the biggest shills for corporate socialism in the country but can’t spare a lot penny for actual economy building people poverty reduction.

Hasn't Alberta been telling everyone they are the financial capital of the Country? That we'd be sorry if they left? That they were paying for all of the rest of us? Let them pay for it themselves.

Anti-fed “fiscal cons” want what? To be fair, less than half the new cost of the yet to be built war ships.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Alberta needs to piss right off.

Hahahaha
